[wolf's rain] also it's very interesting to me how they play fast and loose with which form they show the characters in, even from shot to shot. i think sometimes it's a literal form change but most of the time it's being metaphorical.
[wolf's rain] very fascinating environments in this show. they do a great job of not overexposing lore and not relying on the presence of the 'ancient technology' trope alone to hook you in to the mystery of the setting.
[wolf's rain] is this... an actually good anime? it's been ages since i've seen one of these. also i can tell it has a big presence in togainu no chi's fabric of influences, very similar mood and setting.
some more recent faces i enjoyed painting. for some reason my background characters tend to be more expressive... #faceyourart
