I wouldn’t say there’s an acceptable time since it would depend on you, but being able to at least stay consistent with an art style that you’re satisfied with would be a good start!
It would be easier for the client to identify what you can give and for you as the artist to draw

I would usually take up to t to 8 hours, depending on the scene and type of bg. I like leaving my artworks sketchy but if i would aim to really render them, it’d go beyond 8 hours 🤔✨
(first one - less than 6hrs), (second one-around 8hrs), (third one-around 7 hrs)
