indication of light is coming from the top-middle right convex features directly exposed to that like the shoulder, nose bridge, cheek etc will have little to no shading and have highlights instead concave feature such as eyesockets will have a slight shadow to show depth
using a smudge brush usually a soft one, the eraser clean up the planned shading. it doesnt have to be perfect but begin to cater to more of the concave-convex features to show dimension
Colouring Tutorial 1/2 People requested help with skin and hair shading the most so the majority of this tutorial will be heavily focused on that - as well as lighting. I’m by no means any good professional, it’s just what works for me and hope it helps others too
