Finished Grimgar Volume 15, "A Fleeting New Game Plus" - 7.5/10
Title is very apt here. After finally making it back where it all began, they come to find things have changed. The stakes are higher, there's no safe haven here now. The only people they can trust are each other.
Grimgar is such a greatly compelling series, it just continues to impress me. I'll think it's heading astray, and it pulls me back in with some of the best and most nuanced character writing the medium has to offer. Need more people on it, cannot wait for my boy Adam to start it.
Finsihed Grimgar Volume 14 "Parano-mania" (7/10)
This one seems to be widely hated in the community from what I've seen and I can understand why. It and 13 feel like a complete narrative deviation, granting a whole new setting and splitting the party. Spoilers below.
Welp. I suppose it's finally time to wrap this up
6 more volumes and I'll be caught up
Mute #grimgar to avoid spoilers, if you care
