@MidnightHuntrVR Actually the order is pencil, line, color then light & shadow.The only advice I can give is to build as many layers as you can to have more control. In my post I broke it down to just 4 layers for showing purpose. Oh that art was posted way back more a year ago here.

How I draw...
Well, there's no big secret and I believe most of us do it this way and I thought it'll be fun to illustrate all the layers separately of my art. Here's an old piece of Hir02 to show how it's arranged.
