Here's a Flying Shark token I did for Shark Typhoon from the new Ikoria set :D It's the sparkly token for April and you can get it through my Patreon until tomorrow, Apr 30! https://t.co/kvJTUyn3ME @wizards_magic @ChannelFireball
@ChannelFireball @hutman60 That's right! I got this Shark coming up for April, if you sign up until tomorrow! :)
Ok NOW it's done, can't have this little guy shooting through space without adjusting the colors a million times right 🤔🚀🦈This whole piece took me a lot longer than I'd like to admit
Hi #PortfolioDay!
My name is Hannes and I'm a selftaught illustrator from Germany🐸 I paint stuff that makes me happy.

With the foreground done, all that's left to do is work in a simple background, push the colors a bit so she really glows, and we're done! I send this in for feedback✨✨✨
With a baseline of rendering established, I can keep the rest of the piece a bit looser. I work from the face out and paint her clothes and hair, making sure the movement stays - don't want this looking stiff, or else how are we gonna fight off corrupt lunarch bois?
After I decide I like the colors, it's time to get painty-painty! I start with the focal area and work out from there. It's super important to me to establish the emotion in her face and the movement in her hair before I do anything else. As long as that part works, we're ok!
Obviously I can't send that scribble in, and for the painting I need something more solid anyways, so here's the finished drawing. Art Director on this Secret Lair was Taylor "The Man" Ingvarsson!
Here I had a pretty good idea where I wanted to go with the final image #StartToFinish That meant that nothing really changed from the initial doodle to the final. I love working like that
