The very first @GairlochMuseum exhibition piece to have found a new home, will be heading to the S. of England. The drawing "Study of a Rock face, Clach Uaine" explores my response to the fascinating rock formations near the tideline in one corner of Eilean Mhuire, @ShiantIsles

Yesterday, I spent a happy few hours archiving/photographing the wonderful work (in total, 82 watercolours donated to Gairloch Museum for fund-raising) of the late Jean McGregor Gardner (1932-1986) for the exhibition being held in her memory at the new Museum from Friday.

New work: “Wave 1” oil 100 x 163 cm. Finally able to get my teeth into a decent-sized canvas after months of recovery from shoulder surgery, due to a #rotatorcuff injury. Such a relief to be back in the studio doing what I love! #scottishartist #visualarts #physiotherapyrocks
