His darkweb dealer, an anarchist hacker named Jeroen, decided to try and blackmail what he considered to be a heartless military scientist... it didn't go as Jeroen planned. They found solace in the other's company and then... a little more than solace.

Of course, our solitary wolf was still lonely and in mental anguish... so Nikita turned to the dark web to purchase drugs for entertainment/relief.

Needing money to survive, Nikita first used his military skills to earn money as a mercenary... but in truth, he found that lifestyle unsatisfactory. You see, Nikita takes his morality from sci-fi, specifically Aasimov's "3 Laws", and working for warlords doesn't sit right.

Good school grades allowed him to attend post-secondary school in Germany, and Nikita earned first a master's and then a PhD in material science... But his criminal record and background prevented him from living his childhood dream of helping NASA's space exploration.

Of course, he sustained scars: Nikita self injured in desperation when he had no other way to deal with the pain. His forearms, legs and belly are covered.

Nikita dreamed of alien planets and a post-singularity world, and this dream propelled him to excel in chemistry/physics in highschool, and insulated him from the brutal hazing he endured in his mandatory military service at 18.
