7 hours; ok, I lied, I gave him eyebrows & am working on the giving him the very minimal scruff he had grown out that day, but crinkles really are coming. eventually. (don't fret about the big blob on his chin, trust the process)

@Devyn_McDowell Getting the color on this one involved a truly bananas number of color overlays (8) & gradient maps (4) over the greyscale base painting, so I made a gif showing how all those layers add up to create the full color version

10 hours; so much fine fussing! it's really getting to be spot the difference, even for me, so I think I'll leave it here, mention this ended up taking about 12 hours, & say to expect a post w/ the finished piece this afternoon 💕
