Mercutio, the Messenger for the God of the Moon. A strategist and a leader, Mercutio served his god dutifully until their true intentions were revealed. He regrets his misplaced loyalty and now devotes himself to unraveling the gods with a group of other god-hunters.
Lucida, the Oracle for the God of Life. Even after escaping from the church, the pacts she made continue to take their toll on her body. She has a better understanding of the connection to gods than most, allowing her to be on the move without being observed by the gods.
Jules, the Gladiator for the God of Mountain and Flame. Fighting in the arena is all he’s known and he certainly lives for the cheers and praise. His god only watches, entertained by the battles. They don’t ask for anything more than to continue spectating Jules.
Jayce, the Vagabond for the God of Demons. A bounty hunter becomes the hunted and he’s caught the attention of his god. Quick on his feet and ready to spring to action, his constant run-ins with trouble have left him weary.
After some assistance from another god-hunter, he’s able to escape his life of servitude and find a moment of respite at a port village. Here, he falls for his husband, Roy. A singing little bard for the dragon that’s lost his voice.
Slei, the Executioner for the God of Magic. A former mage forced into servitude after an encounter with a god ended both him and his twin brother. Revived and used as a puppet, the golden scars are reminders of his weakness.
