ofc he'd panic or end up a bit frazzled in the situation he's in and everyone was concerned
so when he revealed his cut arm it made perfect sense that they'd be more worried for his mental state than the idea of a BABY being a stand user

he's also a little bit clueless at times, he's innocent and hasn't really ever had friends to mess around with before

but also remember he's still a bit of a silly guy and likes to mess with people
one i think is much better is in the death 13 fight when he made it seem like he got hurt just to say just kidding, he's so goofy and it's much more in character than what he did with pol

quick diverge just to show how much jotaro actually cares about people cause he freaks out when anyone except him is in danger or hurt
so much so he actually makes rash decisions not even thinking straight, which is uncommon for someone like jotaro who keeps his cool

through out the story he constantly has to stop the others from fighting or just get them to think abt things
and not only that but he's the youngest one of the group and he's having to stop everyone from beating up a crowd
