i'm not a painterly artist so i focused hard on line and shapes and effects to create a similar mood

there was a lot to learn from this, most particularly patience and mindfulness, but it was still fun and fulfilling

i hadn't gone into therapy yet, so my creative self was constantly engaging in self-sabotage, which is a shame

because i REALLY like everything I put down still, to this day

i'd developed this at the tail end of my college career -- i was developing a pitch with friends for an animatic pilot. (in fact, i'm still friends with some of the folks who worked on it!)
