For these characters I experimented with more saturated colors, since I usually did everything with pastel palettes. I don't know if it looks better or worse but it sure was a way to get out of my comfort zone for coloring 👌

In fact I had such a good time writing that book in 2008 that a year later I wrote another and then the next year I started the 3rd one. I never finished it though because I didn't see the point 😂

I remember I enjoyed writing the book so much back then and even had fun transcribing it last year. It was such a good experience to do these illustrations too!

I did 1 or 2 drawings for each chapter and they ended looking like panels from a comic 😁 And I love dressing my oc, it's like having a doll but with infinite outfit possibilities (?)

In my book Melissa was a vampire hunter and of course she would find a friendly and attractive vampire because I had zero originality 👀

It was heavily inspired by "Twilight" and a short story from the book "Prom nights from hell" which protagonist was a vampire hunter. Yep I was a teenager okay? XD

Huge commission for @SmitheroonieeVT of her hella gorgeous Nova as a magical girl! This illustration was such a challenge but it allowed me to play with a lot of @clipstudiopaint brush effects. I'm super satisfied with the result 😍
