Here is the artwork I contributed to this year's @tfnationltd official convention programme in the section showing some of this year's guests. #TFnation2019
Last night's before bed scribble session, messing with the felt pen tool in Clip Studio, a robot proportion test that turned into a Soundwave, and some rando scribbles of a Snake Eyes-like knock-off guy and a random robot I made up as I went along.
Okay, tonight's "need to relax to sleep plz help" scribblin session went better than last night: got some scribblins of He-Man from Masters of the Universe, Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Cy-Kill from GoBots and the Captain N: The Game Master version of Simon Belmont.
he's a lil simple looking (ie: eyes & fists) cuz he was supposed to be small on screen in whatev. finished piece i was gonna to do. Prob. picking this one up again as I get some art projects on the go this year, lots of focus on 80's/90's childhood/teen years nostalgia fo sho. :D
I was scribblin before bed and normally I don't draw Optimus so "thumpy" (that's more for guys like Grimlock) but holy crap I'm digging how this turned out (even named the file "Thumptimus Prime"), threw a couple bits from the toy in for good measure, lookit the stocky bastard!
Technically its the next day, but I'm still awake so here's a couple X-Men to go with the villains for #XMenDay
Apologies for Cable not having a bigger gun or more pouches.
Trying to relax myself before bed (yes, I'm a nighthawk and its like after 4:30am here, don't judge me, lol) by doing random sketchy things, only came up with a single rando Iron Man instead of filling the image with lots of different stuff as planned, but it's a start, lol
I have to redo it as it was just a test to figure out how banners work, but if you look I gots a nice Megatron/Optimus TF Ignition banner up, here's the two images I stitched together for it as a test.
This is still straight up my fave page I did, it's the one that stopped me from redoing everything from scratch (dumb idea) and just doing edits where needed with what I already have and continuing onward, extremely proud of how it turned out.
Dialogue's not been reworked yet (can't til new intro's finalized) but here's a so-far test showing some of the art fixes I wanted to do.
(NEW on left, OLD on right)
Wanted to see how much of a pain it would be to do and it was... painless? So I guess I can continue on with it :)
