The Haflinger is a horse breed developed in Italy and Austria during the middle ages with the purpose of serving as packhorses and for draft work. Nowadays they are used for a much wider range of activities. They are always chestnut in colour, and tend to be on the smaller side.

I got the suggestion to draw an Akhal-Teke so here it is! I'm more partial to heavy breeds but I enjoy drawing a spindly horse sometimes 😁

The Estonian Native is a breed from Estonia. They are small horses known for their low maintenance and ability to withstand their country's climate independently, and can live well off of forage. Their exact population is hard to pinpoint, but they are starting to regain numbers.

The Criollo is a horse from the Pampas in South America. The breed dates back to the 1500's when the Spanish brought over horses, although their registry wasn't created until the 1920's when the breed nearly disappeared. They are known for their stamina and disease resistance.
