want more? we have sonic heroes! it's a more divisive game and let's be real it gets repetitive, but it does sort of continue the story from SA2, has plenty of playable characters, and lets you play as three characters at once!
if you don't mind playing stages in a row with some cutscenes in between, sonic adventure 2: battle would be your choice! the gameplay is more polished than in SA1 and the level design tends to be more linear and challenging, and the story is mighty rad!
want something closer to classic sonic? sonic advance 2 and 3 are at your service! featuring multiple playable characters, challenging gameplay, and wonderful pixel art. personally i'd save advance 1 for the last if you're really craving more
enjoyed rush? good news there's more: sonic rush adventure and sonic colors DS! the gameplay stays mostly the same, however in colors you only get to play as sonic and have the addition to wisps. i can't vouch for the stories in either but have heard good things about them!
want more? try sonic 2, knuckles chaotix, and sonic 1 if you're really craving it. chaotix's gameplay is quite a bit different to the other entries but it can be fun to mess around with.
rse has a ton of these for some kanto and johto pokemon and i live for these boys
