Here are the sketches I made to help Lucas capture the characters :) I love how he reinterpreted their designs to fit in his style.
When I make DnD characters I try to base them on actual real world culture, at least as a starting point. Ollie is russian and Demetria is greek.

I've never gotten a commission before, but after seeing @laserlazuli's artstyle I had to buy some!
These two are Ollie, a cleric of pleasure, with his birdcage spiritual weapon, and Demetria, a Host Bard in a theros-inspired campaign.
His commissions are still open! Go get one!

I've been experimenting with a new art style for....... things👀, and recently I've started contributing to a charity project that gave me an excuse to try it out!
What do you guys think? Last picture is a comparison between the Dragon Stew artstyle and this one :)

Working on 50 sketch portrait commissions by 50 different people on completely different characters really makes you flex those rusty art-style muscles.
