Every paper has his own approach. Forgot how the feel on cold press Arches was. Now I know again.
Fabriano cold press gives me difficulties. Pfieuw... Feels more like hot press paper.
But all by all, I like it so far!
I was able to join a group of plein air painters today.
Trees on the foreground need some more glazes.

Nearly finished. Though it went not as smooth as I hoped. So, a bit tusty fingers anyway... :-)
This lady, a former ballet teacher, will be 100 next year.
Now I am asked if it was possible to exhibit the portrait, in an exhibition to her honor.
But what is even more good news they are thinking to bring out a champagne with this portrait on the bottle! I am thrilled!
