July 2020. I was very depressed and listening to a lot of Utada Hikaru. This drawing, titled "Hatsukoi" after a song of the same name, came to me when Emi told me about Morgan's life post war.
I'm a huge sucker for characters who go through a lot and have a good life after.
Speaking of other characters, I drew Morgan having a chance encounter with some of my own Halo characters. The panel from the middle of the comic ended up being refined to the illustration on the right, which was used for "Infinite Choices" on FFnet
The other sketch of her in the patterned shirt became important as well, as one thing Morgan is associated with is flowers. I try to work flowers or plants into significant drawings of her.
This particular sketch of her hair up led to another trait she had: wearing tassels in her hair bun. They look like ribbons because sometimes I am very, very lazy.
I also really nailed her build by now. She was previously rather thin, but I added some much needed bulk
I didn't like how Morgan was previously very, very inconsistent looking (even with a model!) so I sketched her A LOT in my usual, more cartoony style before approaching realism again, to simplify her features with Hibana's help: high cheekbones, narrow eyes, thin jaw, ect.
I designed my boy rabbit many years ago with a pompadour because he was based on my character Ico. But I also assumed that no pompadours would be readily available for boy rabbits because then they'd be too strong and came up with this 80s anime nonsense instead
@FictionalEnigma I did!! thank you for all of your hard work, it was the least I could do.
And this one is for forgetting the face stripes, (*_ _)人
Name four games you'd run full-tilt across the room to talk to a stranger about if they mentioned them. Here are mine (hard to pick just 4)
