Sometimes we just need to admit our limits and these limits can change as we get better at handling our symptoms and managing our time. This goes hand in hand with being flexible! Trying to force yourself to create like a machine is not only unhealthy it’s nearly impossible.
What I mean by this is that there are days where I wake up feeling great and I often get so much more done on those rare days. However these days are few and far between and usually are followed by a period of pretty high pain.
I try to plan around it by being flexible.
First of all I am by no means an expert and as I am still being diagnosed I want everyone to take this with a grain of salt. But this past year has taught me a lot about working with chronic pain.
The big thing I was reminded of is that I need to give myself time.
