Here's her original design for reference, with her hair having a lot of different colors going on and a lot longer. Shading her took a long time because of her hair, and if I were to restart the comic, I'd try to find a way to make it look nice without serious shading.
Still thinking back on thigns from my old comic I could have done better, like simplifying the main character's hair and outfit so it didn't take so long to draw her. Drawing of the left is a concept of her casual look, one on the right is her with her magic active.

Thinking about the finale in general still hurts, but not because it's over, but because it reminds me of my own darkness and depression that I'm still stuck in.
I have friends that are keeping an eye on me atm to make sure I'm as ok as I can be, but I'm still not truly ok.
