From start to finish, I want to say this took around 7 hours to complete. I pulled a lot of references for poses and shading to get this drawing looking the way I envisioned, and I feel like it was worth the effort!
I redrew it in both 2018 and 2019, stopping once I felt myself not having fun drawing anymore as well as falling out of the MLP fandom. (l: 2018, r: 2019)
Back in 2017, I drew this drawing of my ponysona, Strawberry Breeze, as a means to see if I could draw a background, dynamic pose, and pull of shading in one image. I ended up redrawing it a month later since I knew I could do better, this started a trend of redrawing it yearly.
