Thumbnails are great for exploring ideas, but while I know whats happening they often fail at clearly explaining enough for a client to approve. So we build up the idea in a few rounds of sketches to improve that clarity before painting. This helps improve personal pieces as well

One thing I learned overtime was to always do extra rounds of sketching to improve the clarity of the idea. Takes extra time but speeds up final work as potential issues are avoided (See reply for full example)

Another creature design done for fun! Not gonna be working on this past this point as I achieved what I was hoping for as some personal practice.

Finally recovered/starting up some of the wing-its from TFF! It's a bit daunting to see how many wing-its are in my queue, but damn I'm really enjoying the characters and prompts, this one is no exception! I'll be streaming all day working on this:

Was busy being a rebel with friends yesterday making Crab Rangoon, stir-fry and rhubarb pie, so I'm late on #MayTheFourth post. Plus side it was all amazing.
