Today @an_andrew_leach introduced us to #computationalchemistry & guided us in using virtual #laboratories to visualise #molecules. We discussed how #3D visualisations are integral to drug design & delivery before we experimented with our molecule #visualisations in #Photoshop.
Student showcase: Leanne Glass’ research focuses on making the invisible physically tangible. Alongside her printmaking practice, she is developing modular laser-cut templates based on computer visualisations of viruses, which can be then be assembled, touched & learnt from.
On 19 & 20 Nov, the public is invited into explore how our current burial practices might be unsustainable.

It’s interesting to think about the shapes of molecules such as proteins & how they fit together! But also how visualisations allow us to 'see' such interactions. We chose to use these visualisations in unconventional ways, including adding colour, inspired by @laurasplan's work
