Food Art Series: Leche Flan (Filipino classic)

It is caramel custard made of milk (‘Leche’ in Spanish), sugar and eggs and usually flavored with vanilla. Somewhat similar to pudding but much creamier and sweeter. A classic hit for every party.

Food Art Series: Puso (Cebu, Philippines)

Rice wrapped and boiled in a triangular casing made of woven coconut leaves and also called "Hanging Rice". Puso also means "heart" which is what the woven casing is shaped as. Something uniquely Cebu.

Food Art Series: Century Egg

Drawing this time from my Chinese heritage. I love these fermented duck eggs and I use to not even bother cooking these and just popping it straight into my mouth ammonia and all. You either love or hate this.
