Since April last year both myself and my best friend are both agreeing that we get a restless few hours until 3.30am now 2.30am. We’ve had fun creating new book together. Been creating a story about blitz and evacuees. Says lockdown is similar to 1940s.

The best authors and their illustrators show a balance, the author I illustrate for has strong female characters alongside the male. It makes it fun to illustrate as well. Anne Signol (she’s in her 80s) is ahead of her time.
