Another favorite artist whose work I discovered on the cover of Dragon magazine was Denis Beauvais. I love his “Bridge of Sorrows” painting (it was also made into a great Ral Partha miniature box set).

I haven’t drawn that many birds- the first two are from way back in my teenage days, the flaming owl was a weird mix of drawing prompts, & the dragon was inspired by a bearded vulture.

@JoeGKushner Willam O’Connor’s art was probably my favorite thing about 4th edition D&D (that, & the modules).
