I used to avoid writing dragons cause they're a fantasy staple. It's kinda fun now, creating my own. I ignore most established mythology.

As usual, while editing my fantasy WIP I ended up making another map. This one isn't for a story. Just something I did for fun.

Authors can design their own stuff. I do it all the time. Just be honest with yourself. Are you going to do the research? Will you properly teach yourself. I had to learn geography to get better at map making.

When I'm supposed to be writing but get distracted by map-making. This is for my WIP, though.
