stepping out of my comfort zone and joining #PleinAirpril for the first time this year! been super busy with work lately, so limiting myself to 1hr per study. let's git gud together!

I disliked how I painted the shoulder armor previously too, so this time I lowered the contrast and calmed down the details more to reduce the amount of distraction. Made a big difference imo!

Redraw of and older painting done (checks watch) almost exactly a year ago. tbh I wasn't very happy with this originally so kind of gave up on it at the time. Was refreshing to revisit it with new eyes and techniques a year later ☺️
