Opened up VRoid and made some stuff to practice hair and eyes.
How much you wanna bet I’m not gonna finish this?
It's mainly the face structure not matching up with the body. It's like they put one of the kids' heads on top as Kurapika had a more thin face even during the Hunter Exam. If the head was less round and maybe some eye adjustments it'd be okay.
Here's some more screenshots from my brief sampling of it to see if the sprites were the same for the characters or not and apparently no? They're all different despite reusing other assets like the save screen and music. Perhaps they considered it, but changed their mind.
Kurapika's eyes look blue here, kinda like his 1999 version. I personally like going with his brown eyes in the manga version when I depict him but yeah.
