oh and I nearly forgot but one of my all time favorite dragons, the whispering death, is wormlike! it’s the long body and the way it burrows with its mouth. but still very reptilian which is nice. I think no matter how chimaerical they get reptiles deserve center stage here.

@deboratlas oooh apparently in dnd 5e they decided they’re the larval form of ropers, which disguise themselves as stalagmites, which is a wonderful bit of ecology and also adorable
