@mountain_goats the other beautiful thing is how unexpectedly metal they are
@MitchCompleated @ghirapurigears Obviously you can't stop Poe's Law and any satire that's more than 30 years old is going to drift dangerously away from the original context, but there's only so much the creators/well-intentioned fans of anything can do about that.
Personally I think Thousand Sons look neato.
@GavinVerhey @flavorjudgedraw More recently, I've really enjoyed getting Thorough Investigation out in Sefris and getting to sacrifice the Clue tokens to the Oubliette stage of the Tomb of Annihilation dungeon.
It's not a brainbustingly powerful play but it has the "I'm getting away with something!" vibes.
I really do need to get a 7-x result to buffer my gem total soon, and the gods have blessed me with P1P1 Sheoldred so this may as well be it. Task 1 is cut black to establish my lane and get early blockers. Task 2 is figure out my secondary color. Task 3: secure lands & removal.
@dantalione ooh, that's kind of a Squigly-Skullgirls pose!
Even when your art is rough I get very clear emotional/character vibes from it, which I've always been impressed by 🤩
@talkwordy - Turbo-Fling
I noticed you play a TON of Fling-type cards. Obviously they're a cool with Juri, but it is very hard work to one-shot even one opponent. If you're set on it though, try to get more efficient sac outlets. And more creatures that grow (especially on death) to throw.
if I ever got to touch the Space Jam arcade stick that gives you the powers of EVO winners, I would probably use them to play some MUGEN tag mode with Eliza and Anakaris. Why are the egypt-themed fighters all the coolest design?
Mystery of the universe, I choose not to question.
