Brian Froud - I was introduced to his art as a kid and I would spend hours pouring over his work, wondering how one can even make work so deep and detailed (and even now I still kinda wonder lol)
Frank Frazetta - Whimsical, magical and full of pretty, badass ladies - of course I love Frazetta. I love his natural themes and his women are just the coolest, I only wish I discovered his art sooner lol
Junji Ito - one of the first real horror artists I ever encountered and I've been hooked on his work ever since. King of absolutely fucking grotesque body horror 😂
Arina Tanemura - definitely my biggest influence, her art is so beautiful and was my gateway into manga and into learning to draw. I can still get lost in her illustrations (or Full Moon, for the millionth time) for hours on end 🥺
My first piece using @aseprite! ☺️
I changed the background to blue just to try it out, but I think it kinda works!
The colours look quite different on my phone to my laptop, so I'll need to bear that in mind in future. I think it still looks okay though 🍄🌈✨️
