1. Live A Live

I technically played the SNES version first this year but the remake is such an uplift that it made me relive the joy of playing the original all over again. This game may be old as fuck and have no shortage of flaws, but I don't care. This is my GOTY.

3.5. Paranoia Agent

It's cheating for me to put two Satoshi Kon works here but this is an incredibly close second to my favorite of his, and even then it's practically neck-and-neck. A psychological thriller with a lot of societal commentary that remains scarily relevant today.

6. Skip and Loafer
This is one of the best SOL romance manga running right now and I think it all comes down to how emotional yet grounded the writing is. The degree in which it's expertly able to show the complexity of human relationships is insane.

10. Chronicle 2nd - Sound Horizon

Even though Elysion remains my favorite from Sound Horizon overall I think there's a lot of charm in how expansive and ambitious this album was despite the resources Revo had at the time
