Ok but #Centaurworld is a super good show so I had to finish up that work doodle I did! Show was a lil off putting at the very beginning but things grow on you VERY quickly. Characters are lovable, genuinely funny, and a super interesting story!

But, comparing it to my current work, I think I’m at a point where I’m comfortable with my content. I’d like to try incorporate some aspects of my old art into my new stuff instead of continuing being scared of stepping on others toes. I loved making those kinds of monsters!

It sucks tho because I love a lot of these designs but, I feel taboo going back to them because they were accused of being “copies” just because they show influence in traits, colors, or style from other artists because I was still trying to figure out my own style back then.

And then my more noodly and feral creatures too!

I hit a point where I did more “humanoid” monsters too. I kinda wish I can tap back into some of these with my current creature/monster designs.

A straight up horror phase too it seems. Ngl, the first design here is still a big fav of mine.

So I’ve been looking at some old designs of mine because I was thinking about doing “reboot” versions of a few designs. Or, rather new designs that share the same general theme so they can be compared side by side to show improvement. I straight up went through a fish phase 🐠
