The Sonic X Robot debuted in sonic X #24 Tracy Yardley originally planned for the X Robot to have a design reminiscent of Emerl giving it the name Specter but this idea was scraped for a more traditional metal design taking aspects from sonic and his friends
The Egg Albatross is the fourth boss for all the teams in Sonic Heroes, with the battle being the same for each. I don't know if its true but I get the feeling it was named after the ship from Skies Of Arcadia (If you haven't played it I highly recommend it)

The Egg Devil Ray is a boss that appears in Sonic Unleashed. It is a Devil fish-based vehicle It was deployed as Eggman's personal guardian of the Gaia Temple in Spagonia to hold off Sonic while he conducted his operations with Dark Gaia.
Don't let Dr. Eggman's appearance fool you he's a lot stronger then you think
I always thought crystal sonic was a cool design for metal its a shame it never got used outside the Archie comics
