hot day ☀️☀️
atsu with a lil ponytail....and then some https://t.co/fCjGXkmUGp
the thing about the thick paint technique is that it offers some leeway for big changes
if i used my usual process for this, i wouldn't have been able to do it
so i sketched the corset on one layer and blocked out the colors on a different one
slapped the new outfit on top
i looked at my current progress and thought, "let's make him look fancier"
immediately thought of putting some decorations on the coat lapels so i freehanded some designs and made it look like it's metal pieces
also added some collar pins
look at him so fancy 😩
back to the drawing,
i merged the sketch layer and the color layer
and then it's time for pain, aka rendering
i used the lineart as reference on which goes where
no fancy brushes, just whatever default CSP has
derpy ass sketch and then blocked out the colors in one layer underneath
wip
why is it that when i procrastinate through art, the process becomes enjoyable?
