'Star likes Adam's warrior spirit but Ric is the one who tries to understand why Adam is attacking them bc he notices that's not him ("you wouldn't understand..." "try us...") and they finish e/o sentences. And we already know Ric and 'Star work well together👌
but the difference is that in shatterstar's case there's someone (julio) who takes his hand and pulls him out of there and in rictor's, he does it BY MYSELF, by unleashing powers he didn't know he had.
talking about this excalibur issue, it's obvious the shatterstar reference but also somehow i see a parallel w that time 'star was lost in time-space.
both ric and 'star lost after crossing a portal, scared and reaching their hands. making use of an anchor.
