He has such a particular way of rendering characters and drawing B&E particularly. What’s weird to me is that Ernie in this book feels so different from the rest of his work that except for maybe the posing, I’d never recognise it as Joe Ewers at first glance.

This book has so many good illustrations but this page is my favourite. it’s so pretty and I’m in love with the composition of it
