Kaguya Sama: Aka got me invested in the lives of a bunch of rich highschool kids, even with a premise that seemed infuriating on paper. The comedy isn't what gripped me, but the series still quickly became a favorite due to how fun and great the characters and their dynamics are
Neon Genesis Evangelion: A classic I was skeptical about due to its polarizing reception. Thankfully I ended up on the loving it side. Shines most with its character writing but I loved the atmosphere and the plot from the beginning too. Has the best ending to a story ever to me
Bloom Into You: I like this so much because I have read a lot of romance manga yet this one felt completely foreign to me from start to end. The dynamic between the protagonists starts in a bizarre way and the progression is equally so, yet entertaining so I read it all in a day
@1stDemonKin Aye that shit tragic n all but let's rewind cuz this was lit
On to the actual list starting with Horimiya: A heartwarming manga which deviates from the standard drama formula of slice of life. Consistent if nothing else, and never failed to brighten my day
First, an honorable mention to the final season of Oregairu. Not a new series for me, but it was the conclusion to my favorite anime so yeah. I talked about it more in my pinned post
I'm sitting here rereading Stormlight interludes and Cosmere recaps just blown away by what Sanderson has created
