Get up close and personal with my recent colored pencil mermaid. I think I'd love to take class on colored pencil techniques now that I feel like my feet are sufficiently wet.

Isn't he a cutey 💜 It's been fun playing with these little paintings without any solid sketch or inked lineart. I'm not used to just feeling out where the shadows and shapes are. It feels kinda like carving something out of stone or clay.

Is the tail too long? No. It's perfect. How dare you question my decisions. 2nd layer of watercolor and now it's time for a cookie.

Mo' color, mo' better.

Just a quick doodle of Sabrina from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina show. Was initially just sketching this as a test for some brushes and layer practice, not sure if I'll finish it. I think I like the show... I definitely like parts of it, a lot.

Nora from the movie Underwater really struck a chord with me. I feel kinda lucky to be in this timeline and get to watch Kristen Stewart really come into her own on screen. Also, this is my 3rd or 4th attempt painting in Procreate. Definitely getting a little easier.

2010 vs 2020

And to put it into context, I only painted with watercolor 11 times during a 12 year period pre-2019. And since 2019 (summer), I've done... over 15 new pieces. So it's a bit lopsided. And because of that, I'm pretty excited for next year 👀

Hi. I want this lipstick please. I can't find a good one IRL so I have to resort to painting it. Can anyone direct me to where I could purchase such a shade? Preferably one that isn't totally matte and won't rub off at the slightest touch? A tall order, I know 💋

This was fun to play with but these paints are definitely past their prime. Was nice having a bigger pallete tho and not having to hand mix purple over and over again. Lots of stress and scary stuff going on right now. I feel like painting this helped me… https://t.co/MV3nsTcQ98
