Just finished splashing on some color! The ISO Yellow/Yellow Ochre will give me some help with bright highlights and the Ultramarine Blue/Paynes Gray/Cad Red will establish the darks. I want this to be a very moody painting as compared to the ‘study’. #Edenton, NC #acrylic

Wow! Here is the painting after a glaze of Red Oxide. I like the warmth that it brings to the canvas. Still not finished. More blue glazes in the sky and then coming back with opaque highlights. #Edenton, NC #acrylic
