It was surprisingly lore-heavy. The ducks came from a planet that worshipped a Hockey Duck Jesus figure and chased his greatest enemy, an ancient fascist space dragon, to our world. for years I’d hear people describe Mighty Ducks as the classic underdog story and go “uh I guess?”
