I drew this when I had to commute on I-95 for 2+ hours everyday for a number of years. This is what kept me motivated. Forever working hard so my birds can have a good life.

New Chubby Bird: Osprey
We almost lost these beautiful "Fish Hawks" to extinction, due to the use of the pesticide DDT in the 1950s. DDT was banned in 1972 and their numbers have rebounded (so did Eagles'). Federal, state, and private agencies all worked together to save them.<3
