Listen, its very very important to me that this guy is in Spelunky 2 as a playable character, so he better be there

Jacob Lawrence (1917-2000) A Black American Painter who was heavily inspired by the Harlem Renaissance. He often depicted the black residents of Harlem using his incredible sense of design, a style he refered to as “Dynamic Cubism.”

Miguel Covarrubias (1904-1957) was a Mexican illustrator who at the age of 19, moved to New York. It did not take long before he quickly caught the eye of the New York art scene, and eventually the friendship of many of the prominent figures of the Harlem Renaissance.

Ernesto García Cabral (1890-1968) A Mexican Illustrator who has made a large body of work over his life time, but I find his poster work in particular to be real special. Especially this first piece with the Soccer Players.
