Pretty much wrapped up this design in Illustrator. Time to move it over to Fontlab.

After having made 13 of the 16 Thunderclap fonts, I’m still chipping away at this “palette cleanser” body copy font when I need a change of scenery. No working title for it yet, but I’m pretty pleased. Maybe I’ll use this for the default font on https://t.co/FqzBUhXjGb

After a day of very little creative satisfaction, I designed this pretty okay ampersand. And I guess that’s going to have to be good enough.

For instance, the repetition and the increasing size can really sell the action.

Out today and lettered by Blambot: MIDDLEWEST #15 (Image), BANG! #1 (Dark Horse), DRAGON AGE: BLUE WRAITH #2 (Dark Horse).

The digital aging process is finished for the Project Spray Can font. Attached see the original, clean glyphs, and the finished “worn out” glyphs.

Project Spray Can coming along…the roughening is done. Next step, adding negative areas of “paint flaking”.
