Aww, continuing to sort through all my old art and I found proto-Kitty🥰 I originally designed a polar bear character to represent my babyfur accounts then switched to a chinchilla. The style is really different b/c I was nervous about anyone linking it back to my old usernames
Finished! Chombys (ies?) having a snack. Looking through my baby sketchbook triggered an urge to play Neopets again lol.
Focused more on contrast and colors so the anatomy is a little wonky but I love it

Does anyone else get really nostalgic for their own art? Even though I’m a lot better technically, I feel I’ve never quite been able to capture the same warmth and energy of my art from ~2014
