Now that the art book for #AcrossTheSpiderVerse is out, I wanted use the art featured in the book to talk a little about how we incorporate the visdev artists' beautiful color keys with our lighting workflow. A short thread ! (1/9)-

The concept art of Syd Mead ( top left ) was a big inspiration for the look of #SpiderMan2099 world.
In lighting/comp we fashioned the lens flare ( top right ) to look like hand drawn construction lines instead of anamorphic lens optical artifacts. 😎
