Kullervos's Regret (1918) by Akseli Gallen-Kallela, and Túrin Turambar in remorse (with dead Glaurung in the back) by John Howe. Because letting Tolkien slapping the parallel right onto your face with texts alone is not enough.

Nienna, the one who wove Grief into the Song, for she had foresight of Darkness. Yet, her lesson is not endless grief, but Hope and Courage. Here, she taught Olorin (Gandalf) about Pity and Compassion, two powers that play great roles in Middle-earth legendarium.

@LukeBShelton Definitely this. The relaxing yet contemplative vibe got me.
I love that Tolkien created Valar with power related to sleep, not considering it lesser than other powers. Estë the Gentle has power to heal hurts and weariness. Even the other powerful Valar visit her silver-lit garden to ease their burden of the world.

Dedicating my wandering mind for Ohtar, the unsung hero who delivered the shards of Narsil, the sword of Isildur's father, to Rivendell. Isildur trusted him to save the shards before he and his companions were killed by Orcs during the ambush in Gladden Fields.
