These magical abilities are only supposed to be found in noble bloodlines. Our two main characters, Kelsier and his protégé Vin are Mistborn commoners who plan to overthrow the government and “God”.

There are 10 metals that can grant 10 different abilities. You can either utilize only one metal or all 10 of them. People who can utilize all 10 metals are extremely rare and very powerful and are called Mistborn.

The mgaic system is very unique and complex with many rules and limitations. Having magical abilities is uncommon but some people with noble blood can access supernatural powers from consuming different types of metal.

We start as losers in a world ruled by evil, the Dark Lord. He won thousands of years ago and is now called The Lord Ruler and is considered to be a god. As u could guess,the majority of people in this world are suffering and living horribly unless they’re part of a noble family

The story takes place is a dark world where the sun and sky are red, vegetation is brown, and the ground is constantly being covered under black volcanic ashfalls. Every night the land becomes covered in an unnatural black mist or fog.
